Here you will find the latest news, events, and upcoming fundraisers to benefit the animals at the Elk County Humane Society.  This page will be updated often, so keep checking back to find something that interests you!

Dice Run: To be held on Saturday, July 25th 2026 rain or shine.  Registration begins at the St Marys Eagles at 10:00 AM until 11:30 AM, and kick stands up at 12:00 PM.  The ride will begin and end at the St Marys Eagles with a special stop at the Elk County Humane Society.  All pubic and street legal vehicles are welcome!  $15 per driver and $5 per passenger, will include a buffet style meal at the end of the ride.  There will be door prizes, 50/50, basket raffles, and more!  Please contact June with any questions at (814) 594-5474.  We hope to see you there!

Got Sneakers: The Elk County Humane Society is partnering with GotSneakers to "Recycle, Reuse, and Raise Money".  For every donated pair of sneakers, they will donate $1 to $7 to the shelter depending on the quality of the shoes.  Sneakers only!  Donated shoes can be dropped off at the shelter.  More information on the program can be found here.

Pet Food Pantry: A free pet food pantry for seniors over 60 years old and military veterans (any branch, active or retired) is currently accepting applications.  Applications are available for pick up at the shelter.
