Critter Cash Raffle: Its that time of the year again where the birds are chirping and the Critter Cash Raffle returns! Tickets are available now at right at the shelter for only a $10 donation per ticket. Each ticket gives you a chance to win the astounding 1st prize of $5,000 and equally impressive 2nd, 3rd, and 4th place prizes. The winners will be drawn on September 18th at the Bavarian Fall Fest.
Pampered Chef: We’re excited to be hosting a fundraiser for the shelter with Pampered Chef. 30% of all purchases made via the link provided on our Facebook post will be donated as a cash donation to the shelter! Rabies and Microchip Clinic: To be held on Saturday, June 4th from 10:00 am to 12:00 pm at the Elk County Humane Society. Rabies vaccines are priced $10 per animal, and microchips cost $20 per animal. Please bring proof of a previous rabies vaccination to qualify for a 3 year rabies certificate. All cats MUST be in carriers and all dogs MUST be leashed.
Yard Sale: To be held on Friday, June 10th and Saturday, June 11th from 9:00 am to 3:00 pm at the Elk County Humane Society. If you are interested in donating items to be sold, drop off will begin on Sunday, June 5th after 1:00 pm then any time after usual business hours. Please leave all items under the tent at the front of the building.

Microchipping for Cats and Dogs
The Elk County Humane Society offers micro-chipping for cats and dogs. The cost of the chip is $25.00.
Microchips are the safest and most reliable option to bring your beloved kitty or puppy home should he or she ever get lost. It is a simple injection to implant the chip that will provide a lifetime of protection for your pet.
Spay/Neuter Clinics
Beginning February 1st, 2020 the Elk County Humane Society will be adding interested persons to a waiting list for upcoming Spay and Neuter clinics. To qualify you must be a resident of Elk County (and be able to show proof) and there is a limit of two animals per clinic. If you are interested in being added to the waiting list, please call the shelter at (814) 834-3247.
