Indoor Whatever Sale: This sale started out as an indoor yard sale but now has turned into a "Whatever" sale! We will have lots of vendors with new and used items! Food items will be sold so come hungry! To be held on March 16th from 9:00 am to 3:00 pm at the Edgewood Hall located at 717 South St. Marys Street in St. Marys.
ECHS T-Shirts: We're now offering Winter Clothes including long sleeve shirts for $20.00, crewneck sweatshirt for $25.00, and zip up hoodies for $30.00. Sizes from SM to XXL are available. All clothing can be picked up at the shelter. Cash or check only.
Spring "Fur" Fling: In honor of spring finally coming, the Elk County Humane Society is getting into the spring spirit with a cash ticket raffle. Enter to win a one of 6 cash prizes with the top monetary amount being $300. Tickets are $5 a piece and are available at the shelter. There are only 350 tickets being sold so get your's soon.
Cutest Pet Calendars: Need your monthly dose of cuteness? Stop by the shelter to pick up your Cutest Pet Calendar for 2019 anytime during our open hours. $13 per Calendar.
Easter Egg Hunt: Join us for the Annual Easter Egg Hunt at the Winery at Wilcox on Saturday, April 20th. More information to come as the date gets closer.
Town Wide Garage Sale: To be held on June 14th and 15th. More information to come.
Thunder Mountain Speedway: To be held on Friday, July 26th at the Thunder Mountain Speedway in Brookville. More information to come as the date gets closer.
“Bean and Bug – Protect & Respect”: A Children’s Book written by Ridgway native Dr. Kathleen Fernan. Dr. Fernan is donating all proceeds from the books that are acquired at the shelter to the Elk County Humane Society. There are a limited amount of books that are presently at the shelter that can be yours for a donation of $14.95. The books are also available on Amazon.com and a portion of these proceeds also benefit the shelter.
Microchipping for Cats and Dogs
The Elk County Humane Society offers micro-chipping for cats and dogs. The cost of the chip is $35.00.
Microchips are the safest and most reliable option to bring your beloved kitty or puppy home should he or she ever get lost. It is a simple injection to implant the chip that will provide a lifetime of protection for your pet.
