"Chase Reports" Book Series: Chase is a former shelter dog with a passion for learning, then reporting what he learns. The books are written to entertain anyone who loves dogs and in a way that children will enjoy reading them. There are 4 books available now, including a new Christmas special honoring veterans and other helpers. All the books can be found at Watershed Books in Brookville, PA, at Cindy Shaffer's Beauty Salon, Second Chance Boutique, Do It Best Hardware, and Reynoldsville Historical Society in Reynoldsville, or on Amazon by searching "Books by Peggy Zortmen". A portion of the book's proceeds benefit the Elk County Humane Society.

Donated Artwork: Alcuin "Al" Dornish was a self-taught artist and amateur naturalist having spent most of this life working at his art. He grew up amid the mountains and valleys, the deep forests, and sparkling trout streams of northwestern Pennsylvania. It was in this environment where he spent much of his leisure moments developing his love and interest in the things of the natural world. Al's paintings are highly detailed images of subjects that may include wildlife of any kind from worms to whales, from hummingbirds to elephants. His paintings may be found in collections throughout North America and elsewhere in the world. Al was the winner of several conservation stamp and print competitions in Minnesota, South Carolina, and Maryland. Painting up until the day he died, Al took great joy both in creating and sharing his artistic talent at art shows he participated in with his wife, Carol. He has contributed much of his artwork to conservation organizations, which benefited them financially.
